June–July Delays

At first, Caracalator was to be released at the very end of June, but due to a combination of real‑life events that came up, we had to delay the development of Flop and Caracalator. Me, Sam, and Qaax are involved in the development of Caracalator, but due to him going on vacation and me having to deal with external‑life issues, the development had to be delayed until Qaax returns two days from now and resumes development. Not to mention, the development of Flop cannot progress because only Qaax is involved in its development.

Originally, the release dates for both programs were: June 30th for Caracalator, and July 1st–6th for Flop. But now the dates have been pushed: July 10th for Caracalator, and July 13th for Flop.

We are sorry for these delays. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to bring you quality software.

Programme of FloppaWare

The main programme of this studio when it was started consisted primarily of two core objectives: first, to provide Floppa‑themed alternatives to the software we use daily in our lives, and second, to remain as freeware. The first major projects of this studio, which must be completed before we move on to others, are Caracalator and Flop.

Caracalator must be finished before any new project can enter development. As for Flop, its completion date remains mostly speculative at this time. It will not be very far into the future that its development may conclude. that much is guaranteed. However, due to its nature and current state, it cannot yet be added to the list of projects that, once finished, will make way for the next. So Caracalator is the only concrete option we know of, since it will not be much longer before it is refined and released.

To provide a clear roadmap of software projects to be developed after the aforementioned projects are fully completed and released, me and Qaax have drawn up the following list of software projects with their names and details:

• Caracalator – a Floppa‑themed calculator, as you know. Will release on 10 July.
• Flop – a package manager app. Will release on 13 July.
• Flippy – a Floppa‑themed, Clippy‑inspired desktop assistant. Will enter development after Caracalator is released.
• Floppy Mouse Cursor Manager – a Floppa‑themed mouse manager featuring many Floppa‑themed mouse cursors. The timeline for this project is not yet definite, presumably it will enter development after all other projects are done.
